Sifu Mobile Boss Guide: How to Beat Yang in the Sanctuary

By David Lin, Action Game Specialist

Yang, the Leader, is the man your whole revenge path leads to. He fights like the protagonist you could have been: complete, fast, and merciless.

Why Yang ends runs

Yang mixes every trick the previous bosses taught you: Fajar's flurries, Sean's pressure, Kuroki's rhythm changes, Jinfeng's range control. He has no single weakness, which means the aging system is the real boss. Arrive old and you will not survive the learning curve.

Phase one: learn the strings

His opening phase uses long combo strings with one consistent tell: a shoulder dip before the heavy finisher. Parry the finisher and you earn huge structure damage. Do not chase damage; chase clean defense for the first two attempts.

Phase two: no mistakes

Below half health Yang accelerates and his combos gain extra hits. The patterns are the same shapes, just faster. This is a focus-attack fight: bank focus on phase one, spend it to interrupt his longest strings in phase two.

Win condition: enter under 30, learn phase one with defense, and spend focus aggressively in phase two. Then watch the ending you earned.

Beating Yang completes the revenge path. For what comes after, our Arenas mode guide and full boss ranking keep the journey going.
